About the V85 TT

A homage to adventure in the purest sense of the word, the new V85 TT is designed to take on any challenge. Combining latest innovations, an outrageous level of comfort and the grand heritage of the Moto Guzzi brand, this is a bike that brings style, functionality, robustness and outstanding performance to the party and is now Euro 5-compliant.

ENGINE - Poised for adventure

Pared-back, functional and a dream to handle, the V85 TT transforms even the most banal everyday excursion into an adventure. Its clean, sculptured lines showcase the Mandello eagle’s pride and joy: the transverse 90° V twin air-cooled engine with OHV distribution and two valves per cylinder. This 853cc beauty delivers a maximum 76 horsepower with an impressive torque of 82Nm at 5000 rpm. Add to this the iconic fuel tank with a record capacity of 23 litres and you have 400 uninterrupted kilometres of exhilarating adventures ahead.

COMFORT - Easy rider

The seat position and ergonomics have been carefully designed to optimise vision for even the tallest rider or when fully erect during an off-road excursion. The standing height of 830 mm and compact under body mean your feet can comfortably touch the ground ,while the dry weight is a reduced 211 kg. What all this adds up to is a relaxing riding position and perfect control of your bike even when fully loaded.

DESIGN - Ready for any type of landscape

The V85 TT comes with an incredible array of off-road bells and whistles such as handguards, high front mudguard and exhaust with silencer just to name a few. It also sports full LED lighting with a stunning double front headlamp with DRL in the silhouette of the Moto Guzzi eagle while at the rear, the LED lamp brings to mind the image of a mighty whoosh of air as a jet takes off.

The V85 TT TRAVEL includes all the tech updates of its V85 TT sibling. It comes with all the features that you’ll need on a long trip, such as the Touring windshield, Urban series side panniers with increased capacity and reduced bulk, LED auxiliary lights, adjustable heated handgrips and last, but not least, the Moto Guzzi MIA multimedia platform available as an extra.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS

If three riding modes weren’t enough, the V85 TT now boasts another two, making it easier than ever to manage traction, ABS and pick-up via the Ride-by-Wire handlebar control. Cruise control and a colour TFT instrument panel come as standard, while the accessories catalogue is packed full of extras such as Moto Guzzi MIA, the multimedia platform that connects your smartphone and bike to create a fantastic suite of functions.

ENGINE

You don’t change a winning formula, so of course the engine is the typical Moto Guzzi air-cooled transverse 90° V twin-cylinder engine with OHV distribution and two valves per cylinder. In proud Mandello eagle tradition, there’s no resting on laurels, however, so we have extra torque in low and medium speeds and a revamped electronic engine control system.

WHEELS

The spoked rims now house tubeless tyres, reducing the unsprung weight by around 1.5 kg and taking the riding dynamics up yet another notch.
